N2 - This article is concerned with the boundary stabilization problem of an overhead crane with infinite memory. We show, under some assumptions of the memory kernel, that the problem is well-posed in the sense of semigroups theory. Furthermore, the uniform exponential stability of the solutions to the system is established by means of the frequency-domain method.
