Abstract

In this paper we present a way to capture the information of spatial distribution of colour clusters which is used to further enhance the discrimination power of colour based image retrieval. We proposed the spatial feature extraction algorithm as well as the distance function to estimate the spatial distance. The results are also presented to show the discrimination power of the proposed spatial features.
