Abstract

This article is consecrated to the asymptotic analysis of the rotating disk-beam system subject to an interior infinite memory. Within the minimal state framework, we are able to show that the system is well-posed and its solutions exponentially converge to their equilibrium state. The proof of such outcomes requires a reasonable boundedness condition on the angular velocity of the disk and standard assumptions on the memory kernel involved in the memory term.
