Abstract
Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is a well-known mathematical technique for evaluating a set of homogeneous Decision Making Units (DMUs). It categorizes all DMUs into two groups: efficient and inefficient. Some studies have been done in developing an approach for finding a single efficient unit as the most efficient one. In this study, we utilize the additive model to develop a slacks-based approach for finding most BCC-efficient DMU. We combine two input-oriented and output-oriented BCC approaches in a single approach. The propose approach excludes the non-Archimedean epsilon which makes it easier, more stable and more efficient. A numerical example is taken to illustrate the potential application of the suggested approach.
