ملخص

The problem of heat transfer in the steady flow of an incompressible second order fluid between infinite circular porous discs has been investigated when the flow is entirely due to either suction or injection through, the discs. Taking the suction or injection parameter to be small, the equations of momentum and energy have been solved using the perturbation technique. The temperature distribution has been shown graphically in various cases and compared with the Newtonian fluid. It isinteresting to observe that the temperature in case of the second order fluid is more than that of Newtonian fluid when there is equal suction at the discs (which is in conformity with the observation of Bhatnagar [6]), while this phenomenon is reversed in the case of being equal injection at the discs. Nusselt's number of both the discs has also been obtained.
