Abstract

The problem of heat transfer in the steady flow of an incompressible second order fluid between infinite circular porous disks has been investigated when the flow is entirely due to either suction or injection through the disks. Taking the suction or injection parameter to be small, the equations of momentum and energy have been solved using the perturbation technique. The temperature distribution has been shown graphically in various cases and compared with the Newtonian fluid.
