Abstract

This paper focuses on specifying business processes in the context of B2B e-commerce. It especially categorizes the coordination artifacts required to offset the barriers to the flows of information across and especially outside the enterprise. This categorization will drive the alignment of appropriate e-commerce services with the business processes. Finally a B2B design process is proposed in accordance with abstraction where the business process is specified at a high abstraction level and supporting technology at a lower level.
