Abstract

PTOXY is a computer-based software for calculation of temperature, pressure, and oxygen fugacity for metamorphic mineral assemblages. The code reports a total of 30 geothermometers, 25 geobarometers, and 1 oxymeter. It facilitates simple and quick calculations and comparisons of temperature, pressure, and oxygen fugacity using the most widely recognized experimental and thermodynamic calibrations.
