Propagation and stability of wave motions in rotating magnetic systems

Recent developments in the study of linear wave motions in rotating magnetic systems are reviewed. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between motions in diffusionless and diffusive systems. The influence of the geometry of the system is also stressed.
