Abstract
The effect of the form of model potential and different forms of exchange and correlation on the phonon frequency, liquid electrical resistivity, and inter‐ionic pair potential is investigated. The metallic properties are found to be sensibly affected with the choice of the form of the model potential. It is concluded that an r‐dependent form of the model potential in the inner region of the ion may be important for a good reproduction of the metallic properties.
