Abstract

Available total-cross-section data for NN, NN, N, and KN scattering in the momentum range 6pL280 GeV/c is analyzed in the framework of the Cabibbo-Horwitz-Ne'eman algebra. and A2 Regge parameters and universal functional forms for the Pomeron contribution and Lipkin's "second component" are found. The data are in strong agreement with universality, but not completely compatible with exchange degeneracy.
