Numerical investigation for solitary solutions of the Boussinesq equation

Abstract

Boussinesq equation has recently been found to possess an interesting soliton-interaction mechanism. This paper provides a technical description of the application of the Adomian's decomposition solution and the Galerkin interpolation methods based on Sinc functions to derive soliton wave solutions for problems involving the Boussinesq equation. Numerical experiments are also reported.
