Abstract

The Brownian motion of suspended particles of FeS2 in nematic liquid crystal EBBA at different temperatures is studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy. An effective particle model to give a semi-quantitative explanation of diffusion process of the suspended particles in nematic liquid crystal is proposed.
