Abstract

This paper considers the design of an indirect adaptive output feedback controller for a class of interconnected systems. A recursive least-square parameter estimator is incorporated in the controller. Based on the LQ regulator design, a sufficient condition is derived for the existence of the local output feedback control law. This control law utilizes the estimated parameters and stabilizes the interconnected system.
