Abstract

An exact solution for the temperature distribution in generalized magnetohydrodynamic Couette flow through a channel bounded below by a naturally permeable wall and above by a rigid wall, has been presented. The effect of applied magnetic field and permeability of the porous medium on the temperature distribution and the rate of heat-transfer parameter has been depicted graphically and in tabular form. A few important particular cases have been derived.
