Abstract
We describe a pulse shaper based on a combination of a 4f-line and a digital light processor (DLP) system composed by independently addressable micro-mirrors. The DLP system allows to control the spectrum of a femtosecond laser with a high resolution up to 30 GHz. Experimental results are in excellent agreement with the theory describing the spectral characteristics of the pulse shaper and they are recently used to cool the vibration and the rotation of cesium molecules.
