Evaluation de la valeur récréative du parc Ennahli (Tunis)

The estimation of the value of «intangible» assets depends on all assumptions concerning these assets and on the assessment method used. We applied the Travel Cost Method to a natural asset (urban park). Through this work, we tried to construct a demand function for the park visitors by assuming the existence of fixed offer of goods and services. Through this work, we aim at stressing the importance of these natural assets; it is therefore necessary to identify their economic value in order to increase the social value these assets and their impact can generate on the utility level. Three variables were selected to explain the demand variation for the natural asset under study.
