Abstract
This work emphasizes the role and place of enterprise social interactions, emerging knowledge, and enterprise transformation within enterprise architecture. It proposes an abstract model as a framework for enterprise social interactions that captures the patterns of the interactions within the enterprise and with its environment. The framework shapes high-level enterprise social interaction patterns. The abstract model is refined into a concrete architecture that is used for developing a physical architecture by using extended social media toward the realization of Enterprise 2.0 as an enabler of enterprise transformation.
