Abstract

Improvement of agricultural spraying has been investigated using actual machine used in the Egyptian fields. Modification of the liquid path has been introduced to allow electrical charging of spray. The electrification current is measured by a highly sensitive electrometer. Many factors are experimentally investigated (on tap water) such as: the type and polarity of the applied voltage, configuration of the high-voltage electrode system, type of nozzles and their height, relative speed of machine with respect to the target plant, and water pressure.
