N2 - The adaptation of E-learning technology at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) to solve the problem of higher education is discussed. The E-learning provides access to learning resources at a wide variety of location to Omanis, rather making people travel to receive education. The electronic storage and retrieval of information through internet are increasingly used by Omanis. SQU adopted E-learning technique with face-to-face (f2f) instructions, which resulted in increase in number of online running courses. The applications of E-learning in teaching and learning would develop with progressive implementation, improvement of utilization and quality training.
