Abstract

Background and Aims: There is a well-documented relationship between health promotion and good health, prevention of disease and improved self-management of disease for Adults. The demand for information to explain factors that motivate people to seek their health potential has risen. The purpose of this study was to examine health-promoting behaviors and its association with sociodemograhic factors of Jordanian Adults. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted using convienience sample (n = 349) of Jordanian adults. Arabic version of Health Promotion Lifestyle Profile (HPLP-II) was used as a questionnaire.
