Abstract

This article is an extension of the paper that presents the central heating of annulus with two solid on either side of porous medium. The half of the inside radius is being heated to isothermal temperature and the whole of outer radius is exposed to cooler temperature. The heat transfer is expected to take place from inner radius towards outer radius passing through two solids between the heating and cooling surfaces. The results are presented with respect to the aspect ratio, radius ratio, thermal conductivity of solid and porous medium and Rayleigh number.
