Abstract

An elliptical dielectric resonator antenna (EDRA) is presented when a conformal strip is used to excite two orthogonal modes that are needed to radiate circularly polarized waves. The antenna has been analyzed using a rigorous moment method model. The results have been compared to those obtained from commercial software with good agreement.
