Abstract

Recently, most of the enterprises started transferring their respective business model, including e-commerce to enable social commerce (s-commerce). The first objective consists in a categorization of such features. We adopt a qualitative method based on secondary researches that discuss s-commerce from the perspectives of features and platform development processes. The results show that the captured social features have separate concerns, which indicates a categorization. Also, the study shows a lack of guidelines to engineer requirements of s-commerce platforms. This categorization constitutes the cornerstone of a requirement engineering framework, a complete set of sound s-requirements of s-commerce platforms, as a critical step towards the design and deployment of such platforms.
