Abstract

Our brains at any point of life could be challenged to replenish itself, build new connections and enhance our problem-solving abilities and memory function. A regular exercise program that supplies oxygen to the brain and a balanced diet provides the building blocks for brain health and growth. These factors help in improving the functions of our brain. But in the current era, the percentage of people being afflicted with neurodegenerative disorders are progressing at an alarming rate. Understanding the therapeutic values of many naturally occurring plants and foods would be a breakthrough in the filed of neuroscience. Moringa oleifera (Drumstick) is a tree that possesses a plethora of medicinal properties. The antioxidant properties of drumstick might play a pivotal role in the treatment of cognitive disorders. This review aims in discussing the beneficial effects of Moringa for brain health.
