Abstract

Until very recently, the only known ideal-hereditary radicals in the variety of o-symmetric near-rings were J2, the Brown-McCoy radical or radicals based on these two. Now, many more have been found; they are all based on the equiprime near-rings. We present several examples as well as a general theory to accommodate them all.
