Abstract
The research aimed to deal with the role of the philosophy of technology in understanding the "digital revolution" as an important historical event with philosophical connotations. Digitization is a vision of the world and a production of the meaning of reality. But although it is a fascinating historical event, it carries dangerous elements that threaten the human status. This necessitates its rationalization by promoting critical thinking and moral awareness
