Abstract
This research is a contribution to the service of the classical language of the Holy Quran, the purifying Sunnah of the prophet and the Islamic heritage rich in Treasures of knowledge, and the stimulation of determination; in order to emphasize and preserve the Arab identity, that identity that should be sought to take root and consolidate and discuss the state of Arabic, and the various challenges that stand in its way, such as the encroachment of vernacular, multilingualism and the invasion of other languages; and then try to touch the ways that promote the Arabic language and make it keep pace with the requirements of the present era, by opening up to its data and benefiting from contemporary linguistic studies، While enriching the language and bringing it closer to the recipient without compromising the constants of authentic linguistic identity .
My choice fell on a scholar of linguistics, who lived in the third and fourth centuries Ah, he is Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn al-Qasim al-Anbari (271 -328 ah), and was looking at his book (Al-Zahir in the meanings of people's words), so he was a source for this research.
Based on the above, it was necessary to identify the features of correction in this book and analyze them, in the light of the data of the language lesson, they may be directed to similar books; because of their content; and then contribute to the efforts being made, aimed at rooting and consolidating the Arabic linguistic identity, and trying to touch the ways that promote the Arabic language and make it keep up with the requirements of the present era; hence the title of this research was "morphological and grammatical correction by Ibn al-Anbari in his book Al-Zaher".
