Project Details

Description

Summary We performed bioinformatics analysis to identify differentially expressed genes and noncoding RNAs in metastatic ovarian cancer compared to primary tumors using the GDCRNA Tools (R program) and data from 376 patients in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. One potential candidate, the lncRNA (AC243964.2), was selected for further analysis. This study will be centered on the validation of (AC243964.2) in a panel of ovarian cancer cell lines with different stages. Different assays will be performed to examine the role of the (AC243964.2) in relevant pathways and its potential for predicting ovarian cancer at early stages.
