Socio-economic Study of Settlements' in the Concession Area of PDO

A survey of the socio-economic conditions and resources of the people and communities in the concession areas of the Petroleum Development Oman Company (PDO). The study aims to investigate the living conditions: housing, health, education and public services available, and to identify the needs and basic services required for the region, and the difficulties that limit their realisation. this study attempts to make proposals and suggestion that are useful to the PDO in its endeavour to fill the gap in services and to meet the essential needs of the region, in accordance with its social responsibility and the plans for sustainable development in the Sultanate.
