Process design and optimization of upstream natural gas treatment process

Project: Other project

Project Details

Description

Since any industrial engineering process encounters a complexity that has to be solved, multi-objective optimization is the ideal solution for such cases. These real world problems could be related to the process quality itself, the environment, the economy, and/or its safety. The aim of the proposed project is to design and optimize the natural gas treatment process and to try solving them with different evolutionary algorithms. This approach will ensure getting a better process with improvements with respect to the considered objectives. These improvements will reflect on different sides like the economy, the environment, the hazard and the thermodynamics of the process.
