The present research project aims at examining the impact of Omani parliamentarians? access to and utilization of information mediated through social networking tools on both the flow of information within the Council as well as on the members? competences necessary to perform their legislative roles. It also investigates the Omani parliamentarians? information and digital literacy skills and inform a design and a provision for a better information services and systems.
