Personal profile

Research interests

My research interests encompass two primary areas:

  1. Harmonizing Chemo- and Chronostratigraphy within a Regional Sequence Stratigraphic Context: I aim to integrate chemical and chronological stratigraphy into a cohesive regional sequence stratigraphic framework. By doing so, I seek to enhance our comprehension of geological formations' temporal and compositional evolution.

  2. Leveraging Carbon and Oxygen Isotope Data Alongside Trace Elements for Enhanced Sequence Stratigraphy and Deeper Insights into Paleoclimate and Diagenesis: My research endeavors involve utilizing carbon and oxygen isotope data in conjunction with trace element analysis to achieve a finer-grained sequence stratigraphy. This multidisciplinary approach enables a more nuanced understanding of past climates and the diagenetic processes that have shaped sedimentary deposits over time.
