Research interests

The main objective of research is to find out how we can improve our herd's productivity to meet future global demand and how to overcome the current nutritional and feeding issues (rising cost and low resources). Our research involves on understanding the relationship between diets quality and ruminal fermentation process. In these investigations, I have employed fundamental principles and techniques used in the study of rumen fermentation. Our group is interested in elucidating strategies for manipulation of ecological and biochemical function of ruminal ecosystem utilizing of phytogenic substances as a natural feed additive and evaluated these effects on growth performance, nutrients digestibility, milk production and composition, rumen fermentation and feed efficiency. In addition, seeking novel nutritional strategies and alternative feed resources to reduce rumen methane production improving animal performance and profitability in a sustainable way.
