Description

This intermediate-level course examines the role of money and the financial system in determining national income or output. Monetary theories and their policy implications are explained in this course. Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to have a working knowledge of lexicon, theory, and essential tools associated with the field of money and banking. Students are also likely to be able to discuss and evaluate contemporary monetary issues.
