This course focuses on the optimization methods and algorithms to solve Operations Research problems arising in engineering applications. Topics include the dual simplex, branch & bound, cutting plane, algorithms to solve network problems, dynamic programming, goal programming, etc. Specialized package software will be also used in order to solve real-life engineering applications in reasonable amount of time.
