N2 - This research aims to explore the impact of the Internet on real-estate market in Oman. It started with an investigation of the online real-estate services that are available to clients in Oman. Then, a questionnaire was conducted with the potential clients to obtain their feedback on using Internet and dealing with online real-estate businesses. Moreover, some interviews were carried out with real-estate brokers to investigate how much they rely on Interne tin their businesses. Finally, the study concluded with a set of recommendations for different parties such as: realestate brokers and real-estate companies. Additionally, the findings might be of great value for Information Technology Authority (ITA), which serves as a competency center on best practices in e-Governance and in harnessing ICT in Oman.
