ملخص

The reliability levels with respect to axial compression and flexure for several unreinforced masonry walls are assessed using second moment method. The random variables considered are the gravity loads, wall dimensions and masonry strengths. The loads used are representative of loads existing in residential buildings having different floor areas and composed of up to four storeys high. Reliability indices β for each considered case are given.
