ملخص

The Interrupted Poisson Process (IPP) is a doubly stochastic process with an arrival rate governed by a two-state irreducible continuous time Markov chain. The most notable advantage of the IPP is its ability of modelling the time-varying arrival rate while still maintaining analytical tractability. This paper presents a mathematical model for calculating the message latency in circuit-switched k-ary n-cube networks under IPP input traffic. Simulation experiments reveal that the model exhibits a good degree of accuracy.
