N2 - A preliminary survey of nematophagous and non-nematophagous fungi in some soils in the Sultanate of Oman yielded four nematophagous fungi, Arthobotrys eudermata, Arthrobotrys thaumasia, Arthrobotrys musiformis, Arthrobotrys oligospora var. oligospora and a non-nematophagous fungus, Dactylella intermedia. All isolates are new records for Oman. D.intermedia is the second record of this species worldwide. The isolates are described and compared with known species.
