ملخص

With the COVID-19 pandemic, schools have been forced into online education, with limited experience for many school leaders in this area. This paper proposes that design thinking process is a useful tool to respond to sudden challenges in sorting and implementing systematic solutions at the school level. The design thinking process comprises of five key stages: Empathy, definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing. Through this paper, we reflect on how these processes can help school leaders to deal with the challenges resulting from the pressure to make online education an effective learning experience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
