N2 - Government organizations spend a lot of time in preparing for the integration processes in e-Government initiatives. This bureaucracy and repeated procedures consume time, effort, and money for all the parties of e-Government (government, business, citizens), and hence, holds back the success of e-Government initiatives. A solution that can overcome these issues is required so that if implemented will help in accelerating the integration process in e-Government and saves a lot of time, money and effort. In this paper, we discuss an SOA-based framework for web service architecture to be used in e-Government integration portals and aims towards achieving higher interoperability in e-Government. The framework is designed to make the integration process in e-Government integration portals faster and more secured.
