ملخص
Mg-substituted ferrite Li0.5MgxFe1.25-(2/3)xCr1.25O4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.3) was studied using X-ray diffraction, Mössbauer spectroscopy and magnetic measurements. X-ray diffraction patterns show that all samples have cubic spinel structure. The temperature-dependent magnetic measurements revealed that the compensation point TK of Li0.5Cr1.25O4 starts to approach the Neel temperature TN as Mg2+ substitution of Fe3+ increases, until the compensation disappears at x = 0.3. This effect is investigated in relation to the cation distribution established using the Mössbauer study of this system.
