title = "CO2 capture from the atmospheric air using nanomaterials",
abstract = "This chapter presents direct air carbon dioxide capture (DACC) techniques using nanomaterials. To begin, a comprehensive evaluation of the present state of the art for novel nanomaterials used in CO2 adsorption/absorption and capture is presented. Subsequently, the chapter focuses on developing novel ideas for CO2 capture via synthesis and fabricating nanomaterials, especially those used for DACC. The challenges of applications associated with these systems are also elaborated, highlighting the stability and reproducibility of the nanomaterials. Finally, emphasis is placed on future perspectives as well as potential areas for research and development.",
