N2 - A new fertilizer based on bio-available silicon, present in the form of stable monomeric orthosilicic acid, was used in strawberries production. We applied MRI spectroscopy with the aim of investigating the effects of silicon-based fertilization on the fruit quality. Different MRI images were acquired, i.e., spin density-and T2-weighted, and data were related to the tissue consistency alteration, morphological arrangement and changes occurring during post-harvest.
