N2 - Advanced wind power specific systems, applications and approaches are necessary in order to function effectively. Due to the characteristics of wind power, it creates uncertainty to the electricity supply chain. In order to function efficiently in the power market business, it is crucial to recognise relevant factors and positioning their associated information. This descriptive study analyses and identifies the power market business and its accompanying information flows and connections. This paper shows that effective management of information in the electricity supply chain requires interconnections of several separate information and communication technology (ICT) systems. This study proposes a generic enterprise architecture to manage the data chains and information flows within the scenario of multipleenergy ICT systems. As a result, this study also presents a proposal of an advanced enterprise architecture model that describes both system interconnections and wind power related information flows.
