N2 - The study is aimed to assess the effectiveness of information education communication (IEC) package on knowledge of teachers regarding learning disabilities at selected schools, Vellore, India. A Quantitative research approach and a quasi-experimental Pre and Posttest control group design was adopted in the study. Pilot study was conducted in St. Joseph's matriculation higher secondary school, Maraimalai Nagar, Kancheepuram District to find out the feasibility of conducting the main study. In the main study, the data of study group was gathered from 7th day Adventist matriculation higher secondary school and Vidhya Vihar matriculation higher secondary school and the control group was collected from Bethel matriculation higher secondary school and Blesso matriculation higher secondary school through non probability convenient sampling technique. 30 teachers in study group and 30 teachers in control group were chosen as samples of the study. The knowledge questionnaire was validated and found to be reliable to collect the data. The result of the study concluded that the IEC package was effective in improving the knowledge of teachers regarding learning disabilities.
