ملخص

Since philosophy is related to metaphysics, the public believes that it is a theoretical study separate from reality. That seems to be the case, but a profound view shows that philosophy is not so strange to human reality. Perhaps that explains the existence of a related subject, in Philosophy, called "social philosophy" and "social thinking". Similarly, Social Work is not entirely alien to philosophy, as long as it can benefit from it.
This research has achieved two main objectives; the first one, which is a theoretical goal, is to identify the nature of the relationship between Philosophy and Social Work by clarifying the importance of the philosophical approach of issues related to Social Work, as well as to identify the philosophical, human, ethic, civil and epistemological foundations of Social Work. The second objective, which is a practical one, is to think about the ways to benefit, in reality, from the philosophical approach of the individual, and essentially to promote the theoretical discourse of Social Work, and to form the personality of social workers.
This research is based on the analytical-synthetic method, which, in the first step, divides the main problem into sub-problems and tries to understand each of them individually, and to extract, in a second step, synthetically, the general results.
