ملخص

The study aimed to suggest mechanisms for implementing operational contracting in special education schools in the Sultanate of Oman, by identifying the justifications for applying operational contracting in special education, as well as standing on the requirements and the obstacles for implementing operational contracting in special education schools. The descriptive method was used by applying a questionnaire to a random sample of (201) individuals. The study reached several results, including: The degree of approval of the sample about the justifications for moving towards operational contracting came to a large degree, and the degree of importance of the requirements to implement operational contracting came to a large degree, as well as the possibility of applying the requirements also came to a large degree. The degree of impediments to the implementation of the operational contract came to a large extent. Also, there were no statistically significant differences between the sample responses due to gender and years of experience, as well as to the occupational level, except for the obstacles dimension, which were in favor of the schools, and there were no differences between the sample responses due to academic qualification in all dimensions except for legislative and regulatory requirements.
