Description

The aim of the study in the first phase is to uncover the reality of social innovation directed at the special needs group in the social responsibility programs in private sector companies, and to highlight the perspective of people with special needs towards the social innovation initiatives offered to them by companies in the private sector, assessing their needs from their point of view and from the standpoint of relevant civil society institutions and those with competence in the design of social innovation and social responsibility programs. During the second phase, a number of social innovation programs that strengthen the partnership between the private sector, civil society institutions (institutions that provide services to the special needs group and officially under the umbrella of the Ministry of Social Development in the Sultanate) and those with Special needs. The study will base its objectives on the sample Social Survey, which will be applied to a sample of private sector companies in different categories, who are willing to participate in the research project due to the gradual phasing of the implementation process at specified intervals, where a sample will be selected Random Strength (10) companies within the Governorate of Muscat, Interior and north of Al Batinah as one of the promising governorates, which is experiencing rapid industrial growth and active commercial movement by virtue of its geographical location overlooking the Sea of Oman and located in the northern part of the Sultanate The social survey will also be applied to a random sample of people with special needs who have the ability to respond by type of disability and participate in the response to their research tool. A random sample of 100 individuals will be selected, 50 individuals who have benefited from the social innovation programs offered by the sample companies, and (50) individuals who did not benefit.
